Rowan Sherlock

Having moved to Newfoundland from Ireland in 2017, Rowan Sherlock is a trained Classical violinist and pianist; having studied his craft in Waterford Institute of Technology Music School in Ireland for over 20 years. Rowan then went on to undertake a BA in Music Composition and Classical Violin performance and finally completing his Masters Degree in Music Composition. Rowan has since toured the world extensively before making Newfoundland his home

Jeff Kinsman

Jeff is a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and has been a bassist and sound technician for over 20 years.  Since moving to St. John’s in 2008, he has recorded and released albums with Hip Waders and The Reels, and performed regularly in the local scene.  

He has been nominated for several ECMA and Music NL awards, winning Jazz/Blues artist of the year at Music NL 2014 with Hip Waders

Evan AuCoin

Evan comes from the outport town of Bay De Verde where his love of all musical styles was fostered.  Evan is a seasoned performer and recording artist as well as a talented song writer.  Evan provides passionate vocals and and aggressive driving musical style to give the band a wide appeal.  Evan will normally have his bouzouki in hand but his Guitar and Harmonica are never far away.

Jim Feehan

Jim is from the town of Outer Cove, NL.  Having played in several bands over the years including 'St. James Gate' of Alberta and 'Siochana' of St. John's, Jim has plenty of experience on stage.  On top of his band experience, Jim has been a solo entertainer across the country for over 25 years giving him a large selection of songs and stories to share with you.  Jim is another songwriter within our group and had one of his songs, 'Dance Me Away', nominated for Newfoundland  Song of the Year in 2005!  While providing backing guitar for Rugged Shores is his main job within the band, singing is Jim's greatest passion.

Bryan Efford

Bryan has been studying and performing as a percussionist for over 30 years. Bryan has studied with notable educators Robert Power and Don Wherry. With a great love of marching and military band music, Bryan has been a proud member of the CLB Regimental Band since 1992. Bryan was a principal accompanist with the Mount Pearl Show Choir for 23 years and has performed on several tours with them including Japan, Europe and Disney World. In musical theatre, Bryan has also played drums for Etcetera productions successful adaptations of Sussical, Godspell and Shrek The Musical. Bryan has been teaching for over 22 years and in 2004 founded The Music Collection Drumline which has become a respected youth music program in the north east Avalon.
